DESCRIPTION&PROGRAMME

Attendants will discover and practice microsurgical techniques “step by step”, starting by a theoretical introduction to the basic concepts of microsurgery.

  • HEAD & NECK: submental flap, supravascular flap, free helix flap and temporal fasciocutaneous flap.
  • UPPER LIMB & SHOULDER: Lateral arm flap and radial forearm flap.
  • LOWER LIMB & PELVIS: PAP, lumbar perforator flap (LPF), inferior gluteal artery perforator flap (IGAP), superior gluteal artery perforator flap (SGAP), anterolateral thigh flap (ALTF), medial thigh flap, gracilis (ATMG), osteocutaneous peroneal artery perforator flap, propeller flap based on peroneal and tibial perforators and medial plantar flap.
  • TRUNK: internal mammary fascio-cutaneous flap, scapulo-dorsal flap, latissimus dorsi, thoracodorsal artery perforator flap (TDAP), scapular flap, parascapular flap, chimeric flap, internal iliac crest, groin flap, superficial circumflex inguinal perforator flap (SCIP), iliac crest flap.
  • ABDOMINAL WALL FLAPS: deep inferior epigastric perforator flap (DIEP) and Taylor, superficial inferior epigastric artery flap (SIEA), free lymphonode transfer

OUT AND ABOUT ALICANTE

Alicante is centrally located on Spain’s Mediterranean coast. His privileged location offers to the city an excellent mild climate, with an average year round temperature of 18-20° C.

The air of the city is pervaded with the scents of the sea; indeed, the city has been an important seaport for many centuries.  The city looks towards the sea, and does so from its famous Paseo de la Explanada, one of the most beautiful seafront promenades in Spain.

Alicante is also a university city, with various faculties and a series of technical colleges. In summer a variety of Spanish courses for foreigners are held.

The following General terms and conditions shall apply to participants of the Cadaver workshop on lymphatic microsurgery hereafter called “Reconstruction course on cadaver”.

REGISTRATION:

Registration is binding. Participation fees are due prior to the opening of the course and have to be paid by credit card or bank transfer.

CANCELLATION OF REGISTRATION:

The course registration is 50% refundable only if written cancellation is received a minimum of 60 days before the course starting.

These conditions apply to all reasons leading to the inability to attend the course, including for example illness, accident, etc.

FORCE MEJEURE:

If political or economic incidents, pandemia or force majeure in general prevent the course from taking place or impede it, participants are not entitled to claim damages from the congress organiser.

Registration reimbursement deadline for the course postponement due the COVID-19 prohibition must be requested a miniumum of 90 days before the course starting. The registration fee will be reimbursement by bank transfer discounting the 20% for proceeding costs.

PROTECTION OF PRIVACY:

All personal information is treated with strict confidentiality. As a matter of principle, the information gathered will not be disclosed to third parties and only used in connection with the course (including the distribution of a printed participants ‘list to all sponsors on site).

However, all participants agree to the organizer using their data for information purposes in relation with other courses or disclosing their data to sponsors upon request to be used once in connection with the course.

Safety regulations and implementing rules Upon registration participants acknowledge the regulations regarding safety, access and other implementing rules related to the course and declare to agree that she/he may be excluded from the courses without compensation in the event that these regulations are not adhered to.

INSURANCE:

Insurance is the responsibility of the participant. Each participant is liable for all injury to persons or damage to property he or she causes.
